**Expanding echo-vascular/ultrasound group hiring Ultrasound Sonography Techs and a Team Leader to facilitate growth.**

Skills, Knowledge, Education & Experience You Offer: 
  1. Echo Vascular Ultrasound Stenographer Tech:

Under general supervision, the Echo Vascular Ultrasound Sonographer Tech, performs high quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds following ICAEL and ICAVL accredited guidelines.

  • Work closely with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists.

  • Performs high quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds following ICAEL and ICAVL accredited guidelines.

  • Knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high quality ultrasound images.

  • Aptitude to learn new procedures and to operate new equipment

  • Monitor all of the technical and support aspects of ultrasound.

  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment.

  • Knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high quality ultrasound images.

  • Interact with all segments of patient populations, including adults, and geriatric patients.

  • Must be registered in one modality and become registered in the other modality within 6 months

  • Overtime and Call opportunities

Minimum Education

  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) are preferred.

  • Multiple ARDMS credentials preferred.

  • BLS Required

Required Licenses

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Registered by Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) is required.

  1. Team Leader:

The Ultrasound/Sonography Lead Technologist is capable of providing leadership for the ultrasound area.

  • Performs high quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds following ICAEL and ICAVL accredited guidelines.

  • Works closely with Cardiologists and Radiologists.

  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment.

  • Function as administrative support in the absence of the Manager/Director.

  • Capable of consistent independent action and judgment portraying positive outcomes.

  • Responsible to assure their department is properly staffed and the technical work is completed in a timely and competent manner.

  • Monitor all of the technical and support aspects of ultrasound.

  • Knowledgeable of techniques and patient positioning to produce high quality ultrasound images.

  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative.

  • Work with all segments of patient populations, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients.

  • Experience with a wide range of ultrasonography equipment, including mobile units

  • Aptitude to learn new procedures and to operate new equipment.

  • Communicate tactfully and professionally with physicians, patients, and coworkers.

  • Demonstrated work history in maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Leadership and management of staff utilization and effective delegation

  • Overtime and Call opportunities
